Slovene Central Bank Forecasts Slower Price Growth for Rest of 2002
Ljubljana, 16 May - The Slovene central bank expects slower growth in prices for the rest of this year, as its officials stressed on Thursday that the factors which were mostly to blame for a surge in inflation during the first four months - a cumulative 4.6 percent with the annual rate at 8.4 percent - were temporary and should die down in the future.
