Slovenia's BP/CA Deficit Stands at US$ 18.7 Million in March
Ljubljana, 16 May - Slovenia recorded a deficit of US$ 18.7 million at the balance of payments current account in March, which is US$ 10.1 million more than in March 2001. The deficit was affected by the trade balance deficit of US$ 84.3 million in the first quarter of 2002 and counterbalanced by a surplus from services (US$ 119.1 million), revenues (US$ 10.2 million) and current transfers (US$ 27.8 million).
