Slovenia's Inflation Problems Echo in Delo
Ljubljana, 17 May - Some three years ago, we often heard the then and now Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek and the government economists say that classic economic laws do not apply to Slovenia as the country is cutting inflation and reaching high economic growth at the same time. By coincidence, this perhaps held true for a month, however this macroeconomic miracle definitely disappeared by now. Moreover, now we have to deal with exactly the opposite. Last year's and this year's economic growth will be rather weak, while the prices skyrocketed this year, Delo writes on Friday.
