Cardinal Tomko Presents Vision of Slovene Church to Bishops at Brezje

Brezje, 18 May - Over ten thousand people from all over the country attended a mass at Brezje, a popular pilgrimage destination in NW Slovenia, on Saturday, at which Cardinal Jozef Tomko, a special envoy of Pope John Paul II, handed out to Slovene bishops the final document of the synod of the Slovene Roman Catholic Church. The document is a comprehensive vision of the Slovene Roman Catholic Church in all fields of ecclesiastic life.
