Participation of Foreigners on the Stock Exchange to Increase, Says Head of LJSE
Ljubljana, 18 May - After the bank of Slovenia removed the last restrictions on foreign portfolio investments in Slovenia, the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) knew that nothing would hapen overnight, however it expected a gradual rise in the interest in Slovene securities, both because of various takeovers and because of portfolio investments themselves. At present, foreigners control some twelve percent of the overall organised market, and the share is expected to grow in future, STA was told by head of LJSE Drasko Veselinovic.
