Coalition's SLS to Begin Collecting 30 MP Signatures for Reassessment of NEK Agreement
Ljubljana, 20 May - The Slovene People's Party (SLS), a junior ruling coalition partner, is to begin collecting the signatures of 30 lawmakers as it wishes to check the constitutionality of the bill for the ratification of the Slovene-Croatian bilateral agreement on the Krsko Nuclear Power Plant (NEK). The bill in question, which was adopted by the government, despite the opposition of the three SLS ministers, is currently awaiting parliamentary procedure.
