Slovenia Wants Better Economic Ties with China
Ljubljana, 21 May - A delegation of the Slovene parliament, headed by Speaker Borut Pahor, expressed a wish to boost economic ties with China at Tuesday's meeting with the visiting delegation of the Chinese parliament which is headed by Li Ruihuan, Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. Meanwhile, Amnesty International Slovenia and Slovenia's Society for the Support of Tibet addressed appeals to Slovene officials, reminding them of various human rights violations in China.
