Foreign Ministry Unveils Special Publication upon Ten Years of UN Membership
Ljubljana, 21 May - The Slovene Foreign Ministry on Tuesday presented a publication entitled "Slovenia's Ten Years in the United Nations", as the country marks the tenth anniversary of membership in this international organisation on Wednesday. The guest speakers at the event, including Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel and chairman of the parliamentary foreign affairs committee Jelko Kacin, stressed the importance of the fact that Slovenia became a member of the UN on 22 May 1992.
