Economic Expert Mencinger Blames Government for High Inflation

Ljubljana, 22 May - It is pointless to stop inflation by force as it is only the consequence of some other economic developments. In the case of Slovenia, it is chiefly the problem of growing expenses, as we usually distinguish between inflation of expenses and inflation of demand, economist Joze Menciger said in an interview for the national television and added that it was the government and its unsuccessful pay policy that is to blame for high inflation.
