Slovene Economy Has Performed Quite Well in Global Recession, Economist Says
Portorož, 22 May - The Slovene economy has reacted relatively well to the economic recession that gripped the world last year, a Slovene economist told a conference held in the coastal city of Portoroz on Wednesday. "The Slovene economy has proved to be more successful than, for example, the German economy in this time. Its flexibility was foremost assisted by the opening of the former Yugoslav markets," Franci Krizanic of the economics institute at the Ljubljana Faculty of Law told the conference.
