Politbarometer: Support for NATO and EU on the Increase
Ljubljana, 24 May - The share of Slovenes who would vote "yes" at a referendum on NATO membership climbed to 43.6 percent, up from 39.8 percent in April, the latest Politbarometer survey suggests. According to the survey, carried out each month by the centre for public opinion research at the Ljubljana Faculty of Social Sciences, the share of NATO opponents remained roughly the same at just below 36 percent (36.9 percent last month), while more than 20 percent of respondents were undecided.
