"In 80 Days Around the World" Taking Off in Slovenia

Slovenj Gradec, 26 May - A Slovene climber and photographer is planning to take off from a tiny airport in the northeastern town of Slovenj Gradec in what is to be an 80-day solo flight around the world in an ultra light plane. Matevz Lenarcic, a 43-year old biologist, was to take off this morning, but has postponed the departure due to rain, likely until Monday morning. If he manages to fly around the globe, he will become the first person to ever fly around the world in an ultra light plane without any additional air support.
