A Dutch MEP Addresses the Consequences of AVNOJ Decisions
Brussels, 27 May - Bert Doorn, a Dutch MEP, has recently addressed the validity of the AVNOJ decisions in Slovenia in a question to the European Commission, asking it for an opinion about the document, passed in 1944, by which all property of citizens of German origin became national property. Doorn, a member of the European People's Party (EPP), also wondered whether the Commission finds the document in line with the Copenhagen membership criteria.
