History of Traditional Meetings of Central European Presidents

Ljubljana, 28 May - The ninth traditional meeting of the presidents of Central European states that is to take place this Friday and Saturday will be the second time that Slovenia will host such a meeting. The presidents of Central Europe had gathered in the Slovene coastal towns of Piran and Portoroz in 1997. However, this year's meeting, which will be staged at the picturesque lakeside resort of Bled and the mansion at Brdo pri Kranju, will be host to twice as many presidents as that in 1997, namely 16.
