Riga, 28 May - Candidate countries and the EU should seek for solutions that would reflect treatment on equal terms and ensure equal competitive opportunities for the incumbent and future member states, speakers from EU candidate countries, including Slovenia's Borut Pahor, recommended in a common statement upon the conclusion of a two-day meeting with President of the European Parliament Pat Cox in Riga on Tuesday.
