Retail Trade Revenues Rise 6.7 Percent in First Quarter
Ljubljana, 28 May - Revenues in retail, the sale of motor vehicles, gas and motor vehicles maintenance rose by 6.7 percent in real terms in the first quarter of 2002 year-on-year. Revenues increased by 17.6 percent in March over February, and were up eight percent over March 2001, show the data of the National Statistical Office. March retail revenues, expressed in real terms, were 10.3 percent higher than last year's average revenues.
