Slovene Interior Minister to Discuss Illegal Migrations at EU Conference
Ljubljana, 29 May - Slovene Interior Minister Rado Bohinc is to attend a conference on illegal migrations in Rome on Thursday together with counterparts from the EU and EU candidate countries. The governments of Europe are to pay more serious attention to immigration and asylum policies and launch an EUR 3.6bn navigation system EU Galileo in 2006 to track illegal migration flows. The EU also intends to form joint border police patrols, a study to be presented at the conference by Germany, Italy, France, Spain and Belgium.
