Slovene Ultra-Marathon Swimmer Ready for the Mississippi Challenge
Bled, 29 May - Slovene extreme swimmer Martin Strel said Wednesday he is ready for his greatest challenge to date - swimming the entire length of the Mississippi river, from its source in Lake Itasca, Minnesota, to the Head of Passes, Louisiana. Strel has dedicated his project, called Eye to Eye, to the victims of the September 11 terrorist attacks in the U.S..
