German President Meets with PM Drnovsek and Speaker Pahor
Ljubljana, 29 May - German President Johannes Rau, who kicked off a two-day official visit to Slovenia on Wednesday, followed up his talks with Slovene host and counterpart Milan Kucan with meetings with Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek and Speaker of Parliament Borut Pahor. Drnovsek took this opportunity to express hope that Germany would continue to be an ally of Slovenia in itd bid to become a member of the European Union and NATO, according to the prime minister's office.
