Pioneer Alpine Expedition in Anapurna Area

Ljubljana, 1 April - An Alpine expedition of the Želežničar Alpine Society of Ljubljana, including Bojan Počkar, Štefan Mlinarič, and Tadej Golob, presented itself before setting off for Mt. Hiunchuli (6,441 metres) in the Himalayas, lying in the Anapurna area. So far, only two expeditions are known to have reached the summit. Climbing Hiunchuli is very demanding, despite the fact that it is not one of the highest mountains. The expedition will depart on April 4 and return to Slovenia on 25 May.
