Brdo pri Kranju, 31 May - The summit of Central European presidents has emerged from "the need to establish an equitable platform that would allow for friendly and trustful meetings between presidents of states that had already been an integral part of the EU, and those that have only begun with their aspirations for membership", two heads of state who have attended every single summit of Central European presidents since 1994 said in a special joint statement issued on Friday, the first day of the 9th summit of Central European presidents, held in Slovenia.
