Insurance Act Faces Constitutional Court

Laško, 3 June - The act on insurance companies privatisation, implemented on 29 May, is to be assessed by the Constitutional Court, after brewery Pivovarna Lasko, a stockholder in Slovenia's largest insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav, filed a constitutionality assessment initiative on Friday. Lasko's move was followed on Monday by health resort Zdravilisce Radenska. Until the Court's final decision, the two petitioners asked for a suspension of the act's implementation.
