Foreign Affairs Committee Gives Go-Ahead for Ratification of NEK Accord
Ljubljana, 7 June - The Slovene-Croatian agreement on the ownership of the jointly-constructed Krsko N-plant (NEK) was given the green light Friday by the parliamentary foreign affairs committee. The bill on the ratification has thus been sent to parliament, although opposition Social Democrats (SDS) and New Slovenia (NSi), and the coalition People's Party (SLS) walked out of the long and heated debate before the vote.
