Slovenia Attends WTO Regional Conference, Discusses Steel Trade with Hungary
Zagreb, 12 June - Slovene Economics Ministry State Secretary Renata Vitez, heading a delegation to the regional ministerial conference of World Trade Organisation in Croatia's Zagreb on Tuesday and Wednesday, met for informal talks with economics ministers from Yugoslavia, Croatia, Bosnia and Macedonia, and Hungary's State Secretary at the Foreign Ministry Istvan Major on the sidelines of the conference. Talks with the latter focussed on steel protection measures adopted by Hungary at the beginning of June. Those measures are not against Slovenia and will not affect bilateral steel trade, said the Hungarian official.
