Slovenia Makes Fourth Bid to Organise 2004 European Handball Championships
Ljubljana, 13 June - Despite three previous failed bids to organise a European Handball Championships, the delegation of the Slovene Handball Union is beaming with optimism ahead of the congress of the European Handball Federation (EHF), in Salzburg on 14 and 15 June, which will decide who will be the organiser of the 2004 men's European Championships. The bidding countries for the 2004 championships include Norway, Switzerland, Romania and Slovenia, the latter being the most likely pick, according to experts.
