Lawmakers Pass EU-Compatible Act on Central Bank
Ljubljana, 19 June - The act on the Bank of Slovenia is the next piece of legislation in a package of EU-compatible laws that the Slovene parliament passed at its regular June session. The act, adopted on Wednesday in a 41:9 vote, has been adjusted to EU standards, especially as concerns the financing of the public sector by the central bank.
