Defence Ministers Stress the Role of CENCOOP in Fight against Terror

Bled, 21 June - The fourth ministerial meeting of the Central European Nations' Co-Operation in Peace Support (CENCOOP) opened officially on Friday at the lakeside resort of Bled, NW Slovenia, with Croatia joining Slovenia, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia and Switzerland as the seventh member of the partnership by signing a resolution on further development of CENCOOP. Defence ministers stressed the importance of CENCOOP in the fight against terrorism and swift exchange of information. In their opinion the forum could serve as a model for prompt conflict-solving.
