Slovene PM Moderately Optimistic about EU's Committment to Follow Enlargement Roadmap
Seville, 22 June - After meeting EU counterparts on Saturday for talks on enlargement, Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek said he is modestly optimistic about the EU's determination to go ahead with accession negotiations and enlargement as planned, which was reiterated in Seville. Although there could be delays due to internal affairs in some countries, the EU will try and do everything it can to conclude negotiations at the Copenhagen summit in November and sign accession treaties next March, Drnovsek explained.
