Support for NATO Membership Up Above 50 Percent Again, Shows Dnevnik Poll
Ljubljana, 24 June - Slovenia's EU and NATO membership is supported by a majority of Slovene citizens, shows the latest poll published by the daily Dnevnik on Monday. While support for EU membership remained level with May at slightly over 57 percent in June, it was support for NATO membership that climbed to hit almost 51 percent from 40.5 percent in April, the first time in over a year that the Dnevnik poll has shown majority support for the country's membership of the Alliance.
