Members of First Slovene Government to Meet Thursday

Bled, 27 June - The Slovene government that was formed following the first multi-party elections, held in 1990, is to convene on Thursday to commemorate the tenth anniversary of Slovenia's recognition by the international community. According to Lojze Peterle, the first prime minister and incumbent MP of the opposition New Slovenia (NSi), the former cabinet is to address the state of the nation and society, Slovenia's future in the EU and NATO, and issues concerning the country's national interest.
