Gov't Decides to Purchase Cheaper Jet to Put an End to Jet-Selection Controversy
Ljubljana, 27 June - Putting an end to spendthrift allegations surrounding the purchase of a new jet for the Slovene government, the cabinet made the decision on Thursday to buy the US$ 28 million Dessault Falcon 2000 EX jet instead of the more expensive, US$ 35 million, Falcon 900 EX, it was reported after the government session. The remaining seven million dollars are to be spent on a new multi-purpose helicopter for rescue missions and border control.
