First Slovene Government Moderately Critical of Current State of Affairs
Bled, 27 June - Members of the Slovene government that was formed following the first multi-party elections, held in 1990, were quite critical of the current state of the nation and society as they met at the lakeside resort of Bled on Thursday, and they were unanimous in the assessment that the first Slovene government paved the way for subsequent work. The former officials met at the initiative of the then prime minister Lojze Peterle to commemorate the tenth anniversary of Slovenia's recognition by the international community.
