Slovenia and Croatia to Set up All 27 Local Border Crossings by End of 2003

Piran, 28 June - Six local border crossings between Slovenia and Croatia will have been opened by the end of 2002 and sites for four more local border crossings will have been decided on. All 27 planned local border crossings between the two countries are to be opened by the end of 2003, said Croatian official Olga Kresovic Rogulja following Friday's session of the standing joint commission for the implementation of the Slovene-Croatian agreement on border traffic and co-operation in Slovene coastal town of Piran.
