Foreign Minister Discusses Minority Rights with Slovenes Living in Italy

Ljubljana, 1 July - Slovene Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel on Monday received members of the Slovene minority living in Italy, discussing the recent ruling of the regional court of the Friuli-Venezia, which rejected the appeal of the Slovene minority against a decree of the Italian interior minister which allows that IDs can issued in Italian instead of in the bilingual form in four communities populated by the minority, the Foreign Ministry wrote in a press release.
