Spanish Royal Couple to Begin Official Visit to Slovenia on Wednesday

Ljubljana, 2 July - King of Spain Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia, accompanied by Spanish FM Josep Pique, are to pay an official visit to Slovenia on Wednesday. During their three-day stay in Slovenia, the royal couple is to meet with Slovene President Milan Kucan, Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek, Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel and Speaker of Parliament Borut Pahor. The visit is the king's first in Slovenia or any country of the former Yugoslavia.
