Former Opposition Lawmaker Doubts Drnovsek Will Run for President
Trieste, 2 July - A former outspoken lawmaker of the opposition Social Democrats (SDS), Ivo Hvalica, doubts that Slovene Prime Minister will quit his job to run for president at the upcoming elections. Hvalica said on Tuesday in Trieste, where he was presenting his recently-released book, that he was given a hint that Drnovsek would not run for president, despite contrasting announcements, by Liberal Democracy (LDS) lawmaker Jelko Kacin.
