Austria's Mobilkom Behind in Payment of Simobil Shares

Ljubljana, 3 July - Austria's mobile operator Mobilkom, in sole ownership of Austrian Telekom, is late in paying for the remaining 25 percent stake in Slovenia's second-largest mobile operator Simobil. The largest among the sellers of the 25 percent stake, oil company Istrabenz, has thus addressed a call to Mobilkom to fulfill its contractual obligations - it requesting that the Austrian company pay some SIT 10bn (EUR 45m), which it should have done by 1 July.
