International Union of Speleology Based in Slovenia

Postojna, 3 July - The seat of the International Union of Speleology (UIS) has recently been transferred to Postojna, a small town in the southwest of Slovenia. The proposal of registering the seat in Slovenia was adopted in Brazil by the UIS general assembly in July, while the UIS was registered by the Postojna municipality as a society already on 20 June.
