The Dalai Lama Arrives in Slovenia
Ljubljana, 4 July - The Dalai Lama has arrived for his first visit to Slovenia upon the invitation of the University of Ljubljana, which will take this opportunity to honour him with the title of honorary senator. Later today, the Tibetan spiritual leader is expected to speak to the press in Ljubljana, and meet with Speaker of Parliament Borut Pahor as well as with leaders of parliamentary factions at Brdo Castle, some 25 km north of Ljubljana. A private meeting with PM Janez Drnovsek is also expected today.
