Slovenia and Spain Have Strong Business Relations, Believes King Juan Carlos

Ljubljana, 5 July - Slovene-Spanish economic ties are strong and the bilateral economic co-operation has been increasing rapidly, said Spanish King Juan Carlos at Friday's Spanish-Slovene business conference held in Ljubljana as part of the king's official visit to Slovenia ending today. The king complimented Slovenia's economic progress, emphasising the growth of GDP, which is at around 70 percent of the EU average. He expressed belief that Slovenia's EU membership is just a matter of time and gave it Spain's full support.
