Constitutional Court to Examine Insurance Act, Bans Non-Gov't Approved Capital Injections

Ljubljana, 5 July - The Slovene Constitutional Court decided on Thursday that it would carry out a constitutional check of the act on the privatisation of insurance companies, at the request of a number of shareholders of Slovenia's largest insurance company. Until it takes a final decision, the court has also banned insurance companies from seeking capital injections without government approval.
