Rupel Hopes New Croatian Government Could Bring Fresh Impetus for Resolution of Open Issues
Ljubljana, 5 July - The new Croatian government, if "stronger and purer", could have greater influence on settlement of open issues between Slovenia and Croatia, notably those regarding the border agreement, Slovene Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel suggested on Friday in a statement for the Slovene commercial station POP TV. Rupel's comment came after today's resignation of Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan.
