Ljubljana, 6 July - The STA English service will cover the following events on Saturday, 6 July:

LJUBLJANA - The Tibetan spiritual leader is to complete a three-day visit to Slovenia. The Dalai Lama, invited by the University of Ljubljana, is to wrap up his first visit to the country after speaking about the power of compassion to a crowd that is expected to gather in Ljubljana's central park Tivoli in the morning.

RIGA - Slovene PM Janez Drnovsek is taking part in a two-day conference of his counterparts from the Vilnius group of NATO candidate countries, which kicked off on Friday. He is to address a session focussing on the contribution of NATO candidates to Euro-Atlantic security. This is the last Vilnius group conference before the November NATO summit in Prague.

LJUBLJANA - The 2002 Pride Parade, a march for tolerance at which several gay and lesbian rights groups are to urge for their rights, is expected to begin at 11:30 AM. The main event of this second manifestation of its kind over the past year is also to be addressed by Mayor of Ljubljana Vika Potocnik and EU Ambassador to Slovenia Erwan Fouere.
