Ownership of Slovenia's Largest Bank is a Key National Interest, Says Arhar
Ljubljana, 6 July - Slovenia's key national interest is the ownership of the country's largest bank, former central bank governor and presidential candidate France Arhar said in an interview for the Saturday's supplement of the daily Delo. He believes that the sale of a 34-percent stake to Belgium's KBC was not in line with Slovenia's national interests. The 54-year-old doctor of law also said he sees a unique opportunity and challenge in running for the president of the state.
