Press Highlights the Issue of Slovene Diaspora

Koper/Trieste, 9 July - Slovene authorities should do more to help Slovene expatriates return home for good, instead of just passing resolutions or sending senior officials and folklorist groups to visit them abroad, a regional paper observes in Tuesday's edition. Primorske novice believes that Slovenia could only benefit from the newcomers. The Triste-based Slovene-language daily shares the view, stressing that this year's all-Slovene meeting in parliament was a repetition of last year's without substance and at a lower level.
