Co-operation with Romania Slovenia's Long-term Investment, Kucan Says

Bucharest, 9 July - Expansion of ties with Romania is Slovenia's long-term investment into future partnership relations within the EU and NATO. If Slovenia joins them, this will be a reason more for co-operation, President Milan Kucan said Tuesday after meeting Romanian Prime Minister Adrian Nastase. Addressing the press in Bucharest, the pair applauded successful development of both countries, while Kucan added that Romania's progress held out hope that differences within Europe would lessen and that divides would be overcome.
