Gov't Signs Deal for Sale of Five Percent of NLB to EBRD
Ljubljana, 9 July - A deal on the sale of a five percent stake in Slovenia's largest bank, the NLB, to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) was signed on Tuesday by Slovene Finance Minister Anton Rop. Rop's signature confirms the sale of the five percent state-owned stake at a price of some 64 million euros after the contract had been signed by EBRD President Jean Lemierre last week, the Slovene Finance Ministry said.
