Software Piracy in Slovenia Is Dropping Gradually

Ljubljana, 10 July - Software piracy hit 60 percent in Slovenia in 2001, which might be only one percent less than the year before, but nevertheless proves a falling trend in the use of pirate software in the country, shows a piracy study of the international Business Software Alliance (BSA). According to the analysis the Slovene economy suffered damages of US$ 20 million in 2001 because of the piracy in business software.
