KISHINEV - Slovene President Milan Kucan is to be on the final day of his two-day official visit to Moldova, the second stop of his three nations tour of SE Europe. Kucan is scheduled to meet with the Speaker of the Parliament Eugenia Ostapciuc and address the Moldovan parliament. The Slovene president is also due to meet with Prime Minister Vasiley Tarlev. In the afternoon, Kucan is to head for his last stop of the tour, the Ukraine, where he will meet with leading officials on Friday.

DUBLIN - Slovene Europe Minister Janez Potocnik is to visit Ireland as part of his series of visits to the EU member states. Potocnik is scheduled to meet with representatives of the Irish Prime Minister, as well as with Ireland's ministers for foreign affairs, finance and agriculture.

LJUBLJANA - The Slovene government is to hold its regular weekly session.
