Government Chooses Blaz Miklavcic as the New Chairman of the Slovene Railways Board

Ljubljana, 10 July - The government commission chose Blaz Miklavcic, director of the steel company Litostroj E.I., as the new chairman of the board of the debt-ridden Slovene Railways. Proposed for the post by the senior coalition party Liberal Democracy (LDS), Miklavcic was chosen among five candidates, Radio Slovenija has reported. The commission's decision is to be examined by the Railways' board on Friday.
